ATTENDING THE SURGERY

Covid Vaccines are being delivered to Primary Care Networks across the country. The Hambleton Primary Care Network has received a delivery of the vaccine which is to be shared out amongst 8 practices.

The vaccination programme will be delivered from the Forum in Northallerton, NOT from the surgeries. Only patients aged 80 and over are currently eligible and we will be contacing these patients as and when we are able to, depending when further deliveries of the vaccine arrive.

Please do not contact the surgery, we will contact you.

Thank you for your patience

50 - 64 year flu vaccine

As you may of heard the government have announced that patients aged between 50-64 years old will be eligible for a free flu vaccination from their GP Practice as part of the flu vaccination programme.

This is a great opportunity for us to protect even more of our patients at a time where there are additional health risks associated with Covid-19 (coronarvirus).

We urge that if you fall under this eligible category to contact us for an appointment.

We urge anyone who's in a clinical risk group to take up the vaccination offer when they receive it. It will give them a much needed layer of protection and there is absolutely no evidence that getting a flu vaccine increases the risk of getting Covid-19.

We are pleased to inform our patients that we are "open for business of General Practice" again and our flu clinics have restarted. If you have not arranged an appointment please ring the surgery.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding
